Aged 37 in a couple of weeks’ time, Armstrong is reportedly going to be racing for the Astana team once again.

The former sufferer of cancer will apparently be competing in five races overall.

He is expected to make an announcement in an issue of Vanity Fair magazine which will be out later this month.

Let’s hope he joins those sporting greats who came out of retirement in triumph as opposed to those who confirm why it was best they retired in the first place.

Time will tell.
