You can have it! For a fee.
I’ve written about Springwise (www.springwise.com) before, one of my favourite websites for innovative ideas. It sends out a newsletter each week with the hottest business spottings from around the world.
Sometimes the ideas are smart (getting teenagers to teach adults how to use cellphones), sometimes they’re silly (getting cufflinks of your face or your pet) and sometimes they’re downright ridiculous (even if I do say so myself).
In the latter category, enter New York-based MethodIzaz (www.methodizaz.com). You hire a photographer to anonymously track you and take photographs of you going about your business, paparazzi-style (only without the in-your-face attitudes). The end result? A professional portfolio of pictures of your life.
While I think their mission is actually quite cool — capturing real people in real life as they’re living it and making it art — I think couching it as paparazzi is appealing a little too much to the wannabe celebs running around NYC.
What do you think? Am I being too harsh?
