Here are my top three favourite inventive websites:

Springwise (www.springwise.com)
“New business ideas for entrepreneurial minds” they say. Only it’s so much more … Springwise has a team of 8 000 springspotters all over the world who submit interesting businesses they’ve seen at work in fields as diverse as Eco & Sustainability, Fashion, Life Hacks, Non-Profit and Transportation (as well as a whole bunch more). The ideas range from the zany to the genius, but they never fail to inspire thinking out the box. I’m hooked on Springwise’s weekly newsletter.

Found Magazine (www.foundmagazine.com)
“We collect FOUND stuff: love letters, birthday cards, kids’ homework, to-do lists, ticket stubs, poetry on napkins, telephone bills, doodles — anything that gives a glimpse into someone else’s life.” Be warned — this gets extremely addictive. With a new Find of the Day every day, and a searchable archive from the last few years, you can spend hours looking through strange oddities that people have found in their travels.

PostSecret (http://postsecret.blogspot.com)
“PostSecret is an ongoing community art project where people mail in their secrets anonymously on one side of a homemade postcard.” Yip, it’s that simple. You get to read people’s secrets that they’ve written on handmade postcards. Some are funny, many are sad, a few are heartbreaking. It’s like reading the diary of the world.
