Subsequent to a talk we gave recently on the state of eCommerce in South Africa, it made sense to collate some of the key points of the presentation into a single infographic.
Of particular interest to me, was the fact that while retail growth in SA is currently around 6%, online retail growth is more in the region of 30%!
With more and more South Africans coming online and becoming more comfortable using the medium for purchasing, the population is certainly becoming more web savvy and as a nation we’re adopting ecommerce very rapidly.
Craig Raw explains things quite well in this post about what he calls the “revolution” and I think he may just be right.
