Why are South Africans so good at doing bad things together, but not good things? A lot of people like to say “the rainbow nation is dead, we can never get on”. But every day people are proving that fact wrong. White and black policemen working together, manning the machine guns like brothers, mowing down striking miners. Corrupt business leaders of every hue work together to steal from their fellow citizens. While black and white members of the government turn the other way (probably for a few bucks in the back pocket). Our ability to get on when it comes to crime and despair is amazing. So why can’t we turn that co-operation into a positive force? Do stuff together that makes the world/our country a better place?

I was going to write a second paragraph but it would just be a repeat of the above.
