South African Scholars in Oxford

The community of South African Scholars in Oxford comprises recipients of Rhodes, Commonwealth and Flanagan scholarships currently studying at the University of Oxford.

This Thought Leader group provides a mouthpiece for young South Africans scholars studying abroad viewing current events from afar, with the commitment of returning to South Africa to contribute to its regeneration. The group has diverse interests, studying towards mostly graduate degrees at the University of Oxford. The one commonality is proven leadership potential, a sense of responsibility towards the development of South Africa and academic scholarship.
