The five New Zealand Super 14 squads.
There is a clever nuance from the New Zealanders in that they announce 28-man squads instead of the required 30-man squads in the agreement. This is a subtle loophole in the event if they need to replace two key players. The principle behind naming the squads is that what you announce, you have to stick to. This gives the NZ teams that flexibility.

So the 28-man NZ Super 14 squads are as follows:

Blues – Tony Woodcock, John Afoa, Charlie Faumuina, Tevita Mailau, Keven Mealamu, Tom McCartney, Ali Williams, Anthony Boric, Jay Williams, Kurtis Haiu, Justin Collins, Josh Blackie, Onosai Auva’a, Jerome Kaino, Chris Lowery, Taniela Moa, Chris Smylie, Tasesa Lavea, Jimmy Gopperth, Michael Hobbs, Benson Stanley, Jamie Helleur, Anthony Tuitavake, Joe Rokocoko, Rudi Wulf, Rene Ranger, Paul Williams, Isaia Toeava.
